Officially, the Apple iPhone 12 is here. In 2020, Apple made significant changes to the iPhone, including more screen sizes, new colors, updates in its design, and 5G support.
The firm also announced that all iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models will be shipped without an adaptor or earbuds. Apple has a Lightning to USB-C cable in the box, but it is a new phone’s only accessory.
We’ve collected the best power adapter and headphones below when thinking about getting a new iPhone. These accessories will also work with previous iPhone generations, so you can use them even if you don’t plan to upgrade.
Let’s begin with the charger…
We have selected AUKEY for this. The Swift 30W USB-C Wall Charger from AUKEY is the best power adapter to use on the iPhone 12. It’s got a maximum power output of 30W (watts), so it will charge your phone as quickly as possible. The power adapter produces sufficient juice to also be used with the Nintendo Switch, iPad Pro, or even a 13-inch MacBook Air.
This power adapter is bigger than the traditional 5W charger that Apple has included with the iPhone, but it’s still small enough to fit into a pocket, wallet, or backpack. The Swift 30W USB-C wall charger from AUKEY is the only power adapter that we will advise if you have an iPhone 12, thanks to its power and size.
Second, you need a headphone and there is nothing better than AirPods Pro.
You can get a pair of AirPods Pro if you want to use earbuds with your iPhone 12 or 12 Pro!. The entirely wireless earbuds of Apple are still the best we have tested. They get a battery life of five hours per charge and are charged automatically each time you put it on the box.
They support Active Noise Cancelation, meaning microphones built into the buds will automatically filter out noise before it hits your ears. You can listen to lower volumes of music, which can save your hearing over time. The AirPods Pro connects to the iPhone automatically with the W1 chip instead of the standard Bluetooth chip, which preserves battery and latency for a greater experience.
These are all impressive technical features, but AirPods Pro is mainly recommended as they sound great. They produce an impressive bass for the earbuds, but they do not muddy or treble. For several months I’ve been using a pair as my primary earbuds, and never had a problem with it. As it was produced by Apple too, look forward to a breeze in pairing with your new iPhone 12.
